Drums Level 2

For kids who already know how to keep a basic beat, this class builds the next level of drumming skills. Students will start using more of the drum set and learning the rhythms behind popular music styles. 

Students will learn: 

* Multi-part coordination (hands and feet) 

* Rock, pop, and worship-style rhythms 

* New fills and pattern variations 

* How to count and read simple rhythms 

* Playing with others and keeping time 

* Practice strategies for home 

This class helps students become confident, consistent drummers ready to jam, perform, or continue to Drums 3.
