James Mason -
Drums
With 10 years of experience as a drummer on the worship team at Church on the Move, James brings kindness, fun, and a deep understanding of worship drumming to every lesson. His strong foundation in rhythm, technique, and worship dynamics helps students build confidence, play with precision, and effectively support a worship band—all while keeping the experience engaging and enjoyable!
Rosetta Salcido –
Violin
Rosetta’s kind and caring nature creates a supportive learning environment where students are nurtured and encouraged. Rosetta's style is where proven classical technique meets modern worship and creates a new and beautiful sound unto the Lord. Her passion for worship, lifting up her students, and helping them learn foundations will help integrate orchestral instruments into modern worship settings.
Jonah Williams -
Drums
Jonah may be quiet in everyday life, but put him behind the drums, and he comes alive! His passion for worship and rhythm shines as he helps students lock in solid grooves, master fundamentals, and build confidence behind the kit—all with a mix of focus, energy, and skill.
Laura Williams –
Visual Art
Laura’s love for people, calm presence, and wisdom-filled guidance create a peaceful, creative atmosphere where students feel inspired to express worship through art. With great listening skills and a heart for encouragement, she helps students glorify God and communicate their faith through painting, design, and artistic expression.
Raymond Mendoza –
Advanced Guitar
A seasoned worship leader with a heart for ministry, Nate brings years of experience to his students. He teaches not just how to play, but how to lead with confidence, navigate chords effortlessly, and build a strong musical foundation rooted in worship. His passion is equipping musicians to serve with excellence and lead others into God’s presence.
Jessica Garrison –
Early Literacy
Jessica was made to teach—her peppy, upbeat demeanor brings energy and joy to every lesson while maintaining a healthy balance of fun and structure. With years of experience as a public school teacher and homeschool mom, she knows how to engage young learners, build strong reading foundations, and create a faith-filled learning experience. Through her passion for both education and worship, she helps children develop skills that will serve them in both academics and their walk with Christ.
Doreen Graham –
American Sign Language (ASL)
Doreen’s fun and quirky personality makes learning ASL an engaging and exciting experience! With years of experience as an interpreter and instructor in schools and universities, she is passionate about bridging the gap between the hearing and Deaf communities. She equips students with the skills to incorporate sign language into worship, ministry, and everyday life, making worship truly accessible for all.

Jasmine Rodriguez -
Drums
Jasmine’s fun, high-energy teaching style makes drumming exciting while helping students build strong technique, confidence, and a solid worship groove. As a worship leader at Word of Life Church, she brings deep passion, sincerity, and compassion to her teaching, creating a space where students feel encouraged and inspired. With her empathetic heart for worship, she helps students play with purpose, precision, and a true connection to God’s presence.
Craig Bradley -
Guitar, Bass
As a music educator for Carlsbad ISD and a guitarist on the worship team at Word of Life Church, Craig brings a well-rounded approach to teaching. He helps students build a solid musical foundation, develop ear training, and grow in their worship-leading skills. With his blend of professional teaching experience and real-world worship ministry, Craig equips students to play with confidence and excellence, both on stage and in their personal worship.
Dillon Newsome -
Sound Engineering
Dillon is an expert in live sound mixing, teaching students how to run a worship service soundboard with clarity, excellence, and technical proficiency. His passion for equipping the next generation of worship technicians helps students develop the skills needed to create a seamless worship experience. Beyond sound engineering, Dillon also serves as the youth pastor at Word of Life Church, where he is dedicated to guiding today’s youth into a life of discipleship.
