Planted, Not Just Passing Through

Over the last ten years, I’ve watched many new music teachers come and go. Some step onto the scene with excitement, but soon life shifts, priorities change, and they take breaks or sabbaticals. I’ve seen seasons begin with passion and end quietly.

I’ve also seen organizations try to build new programs that quickly fizzled out. I’ve seen others incorporate a little music but without the depth, knowledge, heart, or resources to sustain it. Most have left Jesus out of the center—and that’s where everything starts to fall apart.

At Frontline Company, we made a different choice. We removed the influence of the world and invited Jesus in. Every class, every lesson, every note carries His presence, because this is His work—not ours.

Through it all, we’ve stayed. Not because it’s been easy, but because we know this is a calling, not a career. When Matt stepped up and answered that call alongside me, the foundation grew stronger. Together, we’ve stood through the storms and the stretching seasons. We haven’t withered or shrunk back. By God’s grace, we’ve grown—steadily, faithfully, and with purpose.

Today, we have a home—a stable place our students can count on. A place of learning, of laughter, of worship, and of community. The Lord has built a foundation that will not be shaken, a home where His presence dwells and His protection covers every corner.

We walk under His hand, covered by His promises. No weapon formed against us will prosper. We plead the blood of Jesus over every student, every class, every instrument, every teacher, every life that walks through our doors.

Frontline Company isn’t just a school. It’s a testimony. A living reminder that when God calls you to something—and you stay rooted in Him—He builds what lasts.
