Piano Level 1

This beginner piano class is perfect for kids who are ready to dive into music for the first time. Through fun and hands-on lessons, students will build a solid foundation in both playing and understanding music. Each class is designed to strengthen coordination, confidence, and creativity at the piano. 

Students will learn: 

• Proper hand position and finger technique 

• Basic chords and how to play them in patterns 

• Simple arpeggios and broken chords 

• Interval recognition (2nds, 3rds, 4ths, 5ths) 

• Entry-level sight-reading: identifying and playing notes on the staff 

• Playing by shape and ear 

• Beginning songwriting and improvisation
