Approximately Age 11 - Adult (Placement based on age and skill level)
This intermediate class is for students who already have a strong foundation in chords, rhythm, and two-hand playing, and are ready to take their musical skills to the next level. Students in Piano 3 begin to move beyond written music and into more functional, creative, and flexible playing—perfect for worship, songwriting, or independent growth.
In this class, students will explore:
* Chord inversions and rocking chord patterns
* Inverted arpeggios and smoother transitions
* Syncopated rhythms and creative coordination
* Lead sheet reading and playing with freedom
* Common chord progressions (like I–IV–V)
* Beginning composition and musical expression
* Practical skills for playing in worship or group settings
This level bridges structured learning with creative exploration, helping students become confident, expressive pianists with real-world skills.
