Approximately Age 12 - Adult (Intermediate/Advanced)
This class is designed for older students who already have a strong foundation in chords and rhythm and are ready to take their playing to the next level. Whether you’re preparing for worship, songwriting, or just want to become a more confident pianist, this class dives deep into real-world music skills.
Students will learn:
* Chord inversions and smooth transitions
* Rocking chord patterns and syncopation
* Advanced intervals: sixths, sevenths, and octaves
* Lead sheet reading and basic chart-following
* Playing and composing with seventh and suspended chords
* Twelve-bar blues, I–IV–V progressions, and more
* Creative arranging and original songwriting tools
Perfect for teens and adults who want practical piano skills for playing in bands, leading worship, or writing their own music. Students will build independence, develop improvisation skills, and gain confidence with both hands on the keys.
